The Model Health Inquiry was established by the British Fashion Council (BFC) on March 23, 2007, in response to concerns about the health of models on the catwalks at London Fashion Week. The BFC recognises the extent to which the health of models who appear on the catwalks of fashion shows around the world has become an emotive issue. The independent Inquiry panel has the range of skills appropriate to determining the facts in this debate and what action, if any, should be taken by the British fashion community. The BFC is mindful of various initiatives taken by other leading fashion centres around the world in relation to the issue of model health. The Model Health Inquiry in London will determine independently the extent to which any of these initiatives may be appropriate to London. Latest news 13-08-2008 13-02-2008 07-02-2008
